Week 13 saw the house reach lock-up. This basically means that all the external stuff is finished, the front door is on and locked all other doors and windows are now locked up. The builder will now start on the internal parts of the house. They have now 'roughed in' the electrical and data and also done the pipe work for the plumbing. The ducting for the heating and cooling has also been started.

This first photo shows the outside of the house in its finished form only the downpipes are yet to be fitted.

the next photo shows the ducting in the ceiling for the heating and cooling, you can also see the wiring for some of the electrical.

and this final picture shows the plumbing in the kitchen. The black pipe work is the mains water. The purple pipe work is the recycled grey water which is plumbed back into the house and used to flush the toilets.
